 How does a Paint Party work? 

  • Pick Your Date & Time: Choose when you would like to have your painting party. A minimum of 8 painters is needed to book a virtual or traditional paint party. 
  • Invite Your Guests: Gather up your friends, family, and/or coworkers. Be ready to experience love, joy & tranquility through painting, while in the comfort of your home, workplace or chosen venue! 
  • Select Your Painting: Select a painting you would like to paint for your paint party from our Expressions Gallery or have a customized painting created for your event.  
  • Pay Deposit: The deposit is based on the size of the party and 30% of the total fee of the party to purchase supplies for your event. The deposit is due 30 days before the event. We will not begin the preparation process, without the deposit.
  • Please make sure you provide your name, contact number & e-mail when requesting a paint party.

 

What Should I Wear? 

  • Although aprons will be provided, please dress accordingly. For example, white pants are not the best option...splatters happen!
  • We use acrylic paint and once it’s on your clothes, it is very hard to get out or wash off.

What if my entire party doesn't show up, will I receive a refund for their absence?

  • Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds. No Shows will NOT be rescheduled. Please plan accordingly or contact us at least 48 hours in advance if you are unable to attend.
  • Cancellations or rebooking requests MUST be done by e-mailing:[email protected]

How old do I have to be?

  • We recommend that you be at least 7 years old to paint at our studio and be accompanied by a grown-up if you’re under 16 years old. 

 What if I must Post-Pone/Cancel my Event? 

  • In the event, classes are post-poned, cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a natural disasters, participants not able to attend or any other changes, we must be notified and confirmed by Demetria, within 72 hours prior to class to receive a credit for a future event.
  • Cancellations made after 72 hours of scheduled class start date will result in an additional $50 cancellation fee; and the non-refundable deposit absorbed the cost of materials. 

 How does Demetria’s Art Studio determine the deposit and why is it non-refundable? 

  •  At Demetria’s Art Studio, providing 100% customer service is our goal. With that being said, the deposit is based on the size of the party and 30% of the total fee of the party to purchase supplies for your event. The deposit is due 30 days before the event.
  • If the event is scheduled less than 30 days, there will be an additional $25 fee to expedite materials, on top of the shipping & handling fee, to be shipped. It is non-refundable because we allot our team time to order, purchase and prepare items to ensure you experience is a positive painting memory with D.A.S. 
  • In the event, if the party is postponed or cancelled, we must make sure our team’s time and work does not go unnoticed. Also, we will not be able to send back items that were purchased and opened for preparations. That is the reason why the deposit is non-refundable.

 What if me or someone from my party accidently breaks one of the supplies? Do I have to pay for that supply? 

  • We understand that accidents happen; however, the answer is yes, so we can replace item(s).
